About Me

CeeJay: I'm Cheryl, a 40 year-old who has changed her life through lap-band surgery--but is a constant work in progress. I had lapband surgery on December 15, 2009. In the first year after surgery I lost 67 pounds post-op and a total of 104 at one point, since my high of 303 in June 2009. I've regained some, so here we are in 2012 and I am working toward some of my goals to be under 200 pounds (again!)and be at a healthy BMI (still working on that). I am a working on making a better me both physically and emotionally! "I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday."
