Tonight I am sitting in a 70 degree house with polar fleece pants on, a hooded sweatshirt (with the hood up!) and an afghan on and I have yet to feel warm. Used to be that a turtleneck and a sweater would have left me sweating, now I crave layers and layers. I am just cold! Do you think losing nearly 90 pounds of insulating fat might have something to do with it? Brrrr! Might have to find some low calorie hot chocolate to warm my insides.
Just think how much coat that 90 pounds provided!! I am freezing all of the time. I hated coats too but now they are totally comfortable and necessary!!

I am cold...ALL THE TIME...I was always hot before my weightloss. I keep my office heater on 85 F...all day :) Try the "diet" hot cocoa packets...25 calories
ReplyDelete:) You lost all of that insulation! 90 lbs! That is so amazing! I remember following your blog before I had my surgery! You have done very well!
ReplyDeleteYes - I am freezing all the time. I have an office fleece and home fleece - it's better than those pounds.
ReplyDeleteYes I keep my house at 68-70 F all winter, last year I went barefoot all day and was never cold. Now I must wear socks, sometimes a sweater, and I walk around rubbing my hands together to warm them up! I bought a box of decaf tea to to help warm me up too. :) I'd rather drink tea than gain back 70 lbs!
ReplyDeleteEveryone I know who has been banded has told me this too! I know what I would prefer lol ;)
ReplyDeleteHeck yes! Without a doubt. I've had 3 different people come into my office today saying it is so hot in our building (after being freezing yesterday) and I have no idea what they're talking about. I am on the cooler side of comfortable.
ReplyDeleteThis time last year I would have had my office fan on.
i had screwed up adrenal glands before so was always freezing even at my heaviest... now that i've gotten the adrenal fatigue sorted i'm comfy even though i've lost a pretty thick coat too!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to know I am not the only one! I may have to invest in some long underwear and lots of turtleneck sweaters. Brrrr!
