Sigh...another night of messed up sleep patterns. I was so tired I went to sleep at 7:30 PM, so now I am wide awake at 1:00 AM. Can't seem to find a happy medium. I hope I can get this figured out soon, this sucks. I was going to try really hard to stay up until at least 10:00 PM, but that was impossible. Then I tried to negotiate with myself to stay awake until 9:00 PM. That didn't work either. So here I am in the middle of the night.

ReplyDeleteI feel for you! I too have this problem. I have had insomnia ever since I had to retire due to Health problems, Dec 21st, 2006!!!
I kiss my DH goodnight, then go to my office where I play on the Internet, usually blogging, etc. Or playing with my photography, crocheting, reading, whatever!!
It is hard though, I know! I don't have to get up & go into work, you do! So I truly hope that this clears up by the time you have to return to work.
Have you considered asking your Doctor for a Prescription Sleep Aid? I can't take them because of my Central Sleep Apnea, so I continue this horrible pattern. Another possibility is something like Tylenol PM. They used to work great for me, you might want to give them a try.
